Life Adventures for Miles

  Happy Thanksgiving!!! We had a "friendsgiving" in which friends get together to celebrate Thanksgiving. This year, along with the lots of food, we had a lot of video gameplay happening too. After about 10 years of marriage to my husband, I tend to forget the holidays considering they are usually just another day in this household (unless we get invited to do things like to this shindig). It was fun trying to adult for a bit and Luna did pretty well considering there were no other kids around. Though I suppose that is actually her normal (more adults than kids) so she learned pretty well at entertaining herself, and I have learned to bring things that entertain her (and not destroy wherever we are at)....hmmm, maybe this is why we have so much fuss when there are other kids involved in the entertainment...  So I feel like I wrote about this movie at some point somewhere, however, we recently got it from Walmart (I think) dubbed in English with fun voices like Billy Crystal and Christian Bale. I am not all that great at remembering specifics (I tend to lump them all together) and was convinced this was a very confusing twisty turvy anime movie when I was watching in its native language (with subtitles). However, watching it with the English dub actually found me pretty emerged into the story. Maybe it's because I saw some random YouTube video that popped up on my feed talking about it (it has myth lore involving the baba Yaga, I think)...or maybe it was the dubbed voices I knew, however, this movie was pretty entertaining and I enjoyed it a lot. A young girl that is considered plain and average in her looks (and apparently dresses older than her age) who works in a hat shop gets spelled to look like she dresses from a "rival" bitter old witch who wants the wizard's heart

Today was pretty normal. Our failed adventure was my crafting (I tried hot gluing a puzzle together) with luna. We need to get some proper stuff before I try again, but hopefully, it will work next time. The rest of the day was normal stuff: pups, blocks, and luna messes! There was even a bit of run about the outside...well a circuit from our side door to our front door, but she had fun with it, I think. There also the time she got into the tools and started to "paint" the walls/door. Luckily the paintbrush had nothing on it or she'd be in a lot more trouble. Funny, how I am noticing karma biting me more and more. The fact that I am such a pushover and everyone knows it, doesn't actually help when the only thing that works for me is when I get louder. I suppose that fact that she isn't afraid of my "angry-ing" voice (I., e., doesn't wail at me when I raise it) is...well something, not real sure it helps me any, actually, other than, knowing karma...
